Visiting Cincinnati, Shea’s Family and my Parents and Sibs. We had an awesome time in Cincinnati this past week. The traveling to and from, not so much. The weather as most everyone in the US knows was icky but it only caused us to pull over twice to wait out the storms and luckily we did not run into any tornados along the way. I want to thank Shea’s sisters and sisters-in-law for throwing me a wonderful shower. I had a lot of fun, the decorations were gorgeous and the food was delish…Thank you for the cheesecake and cherry pie. I had seconds on both. Thank you to my parents and sisters for traveling from Pennsylvania and Texas to attend and meet Shea’s family; you guys are awesome for driving/flying so far and for being there for me. Words cannot say how much I appreciate you all! Of course, thank you to all of the ladies that attended the shower. It was nice to meet you and be welcomed by you into the Flynn family. Thank you also for the wonderful presents too. I’ve already pulled everything out. Anyway, thank you all!

Upcoming Bridal Showers (correction). My friends Sally and Kayla at my office are hosting an office shower for Shea and me on Thursday, May 19, 2011, at lunch. My bridesmaids Rose, Lita and Suzy are hosting a shower for me on June 4, 2011 at 2:00p.m. at Lita's in Rowlett.
Taste Testing. We’ve narrowed the food at the reception down to two meals and will be taste testing soon. You’ll have to wait until the day of the wedding to find out which meal won! It should be a lot of fun…also, the Hyatt is going to set up the linen for us to see the different ways they can dress the guest tables. Am really looking forward to this!
Misc. Bridal Pictures are scheduled for Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 9:30a.m. and I’m going in for my 3rd and hopefully final fitting tomorrow. As for the invitations, we’re about ½ way there. Gotta get back to work on those.
